In 1967, the Bald Eagle was placed on the endangered species list in an effort to re-build the population and keep our nation’s most iconic flying species around for generations of American’s to come. For thirty years, the education regarding conservation grew into a nationwide effort to help unify environmental efforts and bring back the Bald Eagle to fruition. Happily, in 2007, the eagle was removed from the endangered list and can once again be seen flying around Baldwin County!
