The good people at the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, located on the Alabama-Florida line, will be hosting their 25th annual “Make it to the Line” 4-Mile Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run this Saturday (12/29) at 10:00 a.m. This family fun event features a scenic course that begins and finished at the nationally publicized ”roadhouse,” and participants will receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt with their race registration!

Celebrate Spring at the 61st Annual Arts & Craft Festival in Fairhope Alabama, just a short drive from our sugar, white sand beaches.  Spring is a wonderful time of the year here in South Alabama. The weather is just right, not to hot and never to cold!

Over 230 exhibitors from across the nation will converge on the quaint town of Fairhope. Flowers will be in full bloom March 15th through the 17th at the 61st Annual Arts & Craft Festival. There is no admission charge and the hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Live entertainment will be continuous through out the three day festival. There will also be unique cuisine being served up at the food court of the festival.

Annual Alabama Lifestyle Expo

Visitors and locals of all ages are invited to attend the Annual Alabama Lifestyle Expo. The Expo will be held at Caribe The Resort February 7 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Caribe The Resort over looks the Perdido Pass in Orange Beach with convenient covered parking and three different entries to the exhibit hall.

The Expo will host over 50 vendors, each offering up something upbeat and promoting healthy living. The emphasis is on the great amenities available in South Baldwin County. 26th Annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival

Strawberry Short Cake is KING… at least at the Annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival.

Dating back 24 years ago the Strawberry Festival has grown to be one of Baldwin County’s most organized festivals, held every year at the Loxely Municipal Park the second weekend in April. This year the festival will be held on Saturday April 13th and  Sunday April 14th with all proceeds going to ARCBC and the Loxely Elementary School.

The festival will showcase over 175 arts and craft vendors, over a dozen food vendors, exciting carnival, wonderful children games, antique auto show, and live music! Wow, that’s a whole lot of fun for one weekend!

29th Annual Interstate Mullet Toss

The Flora-Bama will be hosting their 29th Annual Interstate Mullet Toss April 26th through the 28th.

Mullet Toss? No.. we won’t be tossing middle aged men with bad hair cuts, or no hair cut should I say. We will be tossing a fish called a Mullet. Mullet are populous to the area and are a local delicacy. They are also told to possess mystical powers.

Join hundreds of mullet-tossers as they flock to the beaches to join in on this annual weekend long party. There will be live music and lots of food to go around all weekend long.
