The 2012 Hangout Music Fest has officially SOLD OUT of their allotment of 3-Day Passes for festival goers.  With the event selling out in 2011, it was expected the event follow suit in 2012.  However, noone could have guessed that it would sell out three months prior to the event!

Luckily, tickets are STILL AVAILABLE through Kaiser Realty, Inc. when you make your beach home or condo reservation. Not only are you able to purchase tickets AND book your room with a single call, but you will be able to use our Complimentary Ticket Concierge service at check-in for the festival.  This allows you to pick up your tickets with your room keys, and without ever leaving our offices, trade in your tickets for your entry wristbands.

Hangout Music Fest: A New Gulf Coast Holiday

“I don’t want to leave the Hangout” yelled Grace Potter of “Grace Potter and the Nocturnals,” halfway through the band’s Friday afternoon set. “I want to stay here forever with all you beautiful people.”

Potter’s quote pretty much sums up the feelings of both the musicians and participants of this year’s Hangout Music Fest. Boasting sold-out ticket sales (35,000 tickets) and practically sold out room accommodations from Fort Morgan to Orange Beach, nobody can claim the event was not a success.

The weekend festivities began Thursday evening at the pre-party, open to those who opted for the extra night’s ticket, giving those in attendance a sneak peak of what was to come. Friday, the opening day of the festival, could have been described as hectic but fun, with thousands of people excitedly waiting outside the gate to exchange their paper tickets for the 3-day wristband before the festival’s 1 pm start time.

Several Acts Added to Hangout Music Festival Lineup

March 15, 2011 (Gulf Shores, AL) — The Hangout Music Festival has added twelve more acts to its May 20-22, 2011 lineup.  The newest artist additions include The Avett Brothers, STS9, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Brandi Carlile, JJ Grey and Mofro, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Big Gigantic, Soja, Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Rival Sons and Honey Island Swamp Band. Last month the 2nd annual Hangout Music Festival announced national headliners Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Flaming Lips, Cee Lo Green plus dozens more.  For a complete artist listing, see below.

Hangout Music Festival is in close proximity to a wide assortment of lodging options including fully equipped and affordable vacation rental condominiums, beach houses and traditional hotel rooms. Hangout attendees are encouraged to use the Hangout shuttle system with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations throughout Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The shuttle runs until 4 am Friday and Saturday and until Midnight on Sunday. Advance all-you-can-ride passes go on-sale this Wednesday, March 16th at 10 am for $20.
