I wanted a place to entertain my daughters and their families, with my father and aunt as well! The location was perfect for our beach time, pool time, meal times, and bed times. We shared and made wonderful new life long memories in this home! The kitchens had everything we needed to cook and serve for our large group, seating for all, and the much used extra sinks/ dishwashers was awesome! We will definitely be back to the Yellow Rose, love it!

Let's start with the house - great location, beach was wonderful. The size of the house was perfect. However, the house in general was dirty. The basics were clean, but there was mold on the wall, blinds covered in dust, doors disgustingly dirty; crows nest carpet was really gross; these are easy fixes. And then there are things that were broken: a vacuum cleaner that was probably 30 years old and didn't work, light bulbs burned out, door handles missing, shower handles that we had to fix to get them to work, outside doors that barely close and are hard to lock, outdoor shower that isn't even hooked up. These are things that should have been fixed by the owners and at least noted by the realtors. The get to the pool you have to walk on gravel - really, you can't even put something there to walk on so it doesn't hurt your feet? And now for kaiser realty... check in time begins at 3. We arrived at 3:10 and were told our house wasn't ready. When I told them that our contract says check in "begins" at three, I was actually told by some blonde that that doesn't actually mean you can check in at three. Really? Then what exactly does the word "begin" mean? She was rude and not accomodating to us at all. They could have given us our keys and we would have waiting at the house until the cleaning was done but they wouldn't let us so we had to wait another 40 minutes until the cleaners were out. And I know there were other people with the same issue. If check in doesn't really begin at 3, then say so in the contract. Would never use this company again and though we overall enjoyed the house, the lack of attention to it was annoying for the price we paid.

Please note that I completed and turned in the paper review included with the materials given at registration. This was our 3rd or 4th time staying at the Yellow Rose for spring break. The house needs maintenance work. I called about the refrigerator leaking water, but one of the dishwashers also leaked. The tub in bathroom outside the front bedroom on beachside needs work. All the rugs need to be washed, and the couches need to be cleaned. An upper cabinet in the downstairs kitchen needs work, and the dryer in the downstairs laundry whines the entire time it is drying clothing. On the deck, some of the wood trim from a support beam had come loose and was just lying on the floor, a danger for children as there were nails in the loose pieces.Finally, the owner needs to put the wifi back in. I will be looking for a different house next year. The beach was wonderful and the weather absolutely superb. Jo

House was amazing, very large. We went with 3 other families and everyone had their own space. We were able to get quiet time from the kids too. Home is located a little way from the public beach so the beach is quiet and not crowded at all. We had our own "section" out in front of the house. The home is also far enough down the road from the condos and smaller beach homes so that you are not near the larger spring break crowd but close enough if you want to join them. Plenty for kids to do, Go-Karts and Miniature Golf about 10 miles away from home. Plenty of great restaurants. The husbands and sons went on a deep sea fishing trip. All of the boys loved it. We had boys from the age of 4 to 12 go and they all caught alot of fish. Great Vacation. Plan to go back. Maybe when it is a little warmer though.

Everything was great except we had 12 people and didn't have enough towels and wash cloths. We don't mind washing but we didn't have enough for everyone to have a least one each to wash. We love the house, we have stayed there now three years. We love the location, it is quiet and private.
