Balconies on two of the three levels are great gathering places for family and friends and for watching your grandchildren build sand castles.
The main level offers an open floor plan with the living and dining areas and fully equipped modern kitchen. The guest bedroom on this main level has a king bed and private full bath with a tub/shower combination. Perfect for children and game playing there is an additional living / den area with a sleeper sofa and convenient full bath. The living area also has a sleeper sofa for added sleeping. Heading up to the second level is the gulf front master bedroom with a king bed and private full bath with a jetted garden tub only. There are two guest bedrooms on this level one with a king bed, the other with a queen that share a common full bath with a tub/shower combination. A laundry facility with a full size washer / dryer completes the schematic of this second level. The top level of Wits End East also has two guest bedrooms; one with two queen beds and the other with two queen beds plus a twin bunk bed making this room ideal for a small family. Each bedroom on this level is accompanied by a private full bath with tub/shower combination. A shared gulf front pool with the west side of this duplex makes Wits End the place to take time out.

We spent a week at the Witt's End with all of our family, 8 adults and 5 children and had a wonderful week. The beach was wonderful, the views from the balcony were great and we often saw dolphins playing in the surf. There is a very nice and clean pool under the building which is great for the hot afternoon sun and the smaller children. We also enjoyed all the great eating places around Gulf Shores and the many extra activities that were very close to where we stayed. There was everything from golf to go carts so there was always something to do. As the patriarch of the group I really enjoyed visiting the USS alabama, moored at Mobile and the Naval air Museum in Pensacola, FL. There was very little negative about this place but it could stand a little repair and a good cleaning.
