Villa De Ono - Ono Island

The house is large and spacious, even for a large group. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, like another reviewer previously noted, the house was not clean and ready for rental upon arrival. Particularly disappointing was the state of the pool which was so dirty that we did not let our kids swim in it. The power and lights on the dock did not work. The gas grill would not light. There was sand all over the stairs inside the house. The dock has numerous nails that are backing out which cut several of the kids feet throughout the week, and several by the dock that would flip up if you stood on one side of them. We called the service line and they sent two people out that fixed the dock lights and water and the grill over the next 48 hours, but said they "didn't know what to do" with respect to the pool as it was so dirty. What was particularly disappointing about this was that due to the previous review I called Kaiser a week before arrival and specifically said that I wanted to make sure the house was clean before arrival. Apparently this did not particularly help. It is a beautiful house, it is a wonderful location, but it needs some TLC to get it to an acceptable standard for renters. We rent frequently from Kaiser and this is the first time we have had any problems, their other properties have been much better maintained upon arrival.

Beautiful home and location! Kaiser allowed us to check-in early. Upon arrival at the home, we were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the home (floors/rugs dirty, dirty dishes in one of the queen rooms, food and/or drink splattered on the master suite wall). We also made a service call due to unable to use the DVD players in all bedrooms, and the only working DVD player located in the den would continually shut off during a movie and we would have to get up and hit the play button to continue watching the movie. A service person responded quickly, however DVD players were still not operational upon his departure, and the DVD player in the den continued to shut off throughout the movie. The master suite also was very warm and when we adjusted the thermostat to cool it to an adequate temperature the king bedroom directly above it got so cold that it caused a film on the window. For the money spent, anyone would expect to arrive to a clean home with all amenities working properly. Overall, we loved the home and may request this home for a future vacation (hopefully with the next visit we will arrive to find the home in exceptional order). We had a wonderful time; the children loved the pool!

We stayed on the Bay for the first time. We have previously rented on West Beach or Fort Morgan. Great home with wonderful view. We will return. M

This was our second year to spend Easter week at Villa de Ono and plan to go back next year, but in May. Just because, we have tried to find another house with similar amenities with no success. Our grandkids ages are from 16-years to 20 months and the property has something for all ages.
