We recently rented the home for our wedding and reception. This house is perfect! It's warm, charming, inviting and very spacious! The owner of the home and Kaiser Realty really make sure everything if perfect for your day. Cindy with Kaiser was amazing! She was knowledgable, kind, caring and went above and beyond her duties. My only regret is that we did not stay longer.

Our high school girlfriends have stayed at the Viking for 15+ years. Not only do we have a great time each year but the house was always well kept. During our last visit however, we noticed that the house was not as clean as in past years. The dinner table had food on it when we arrived, dishes and silver wear were put away dirty, the table in the living room wasn't clean, burned out light bulbs in some rooms etc. Found some of the kitchen supplies missing the short glasses in particular, used to be about 20, there seemed to be about 4. As reported in past years the main floor back bathrooms have a odor(possibly toilet seal?). The top floor bathrooms shower fixtures need to be replaced and toilet flushes Could use screens on loft bedroom windows. The steps going to the loft area are very shaky. Need a step to get from the deck to the boardwalk. I would not recommend the house to older travelers and people with disabilities due to the steps inside and out. Do you think that the owners would ever consider an elevator? My family and I have reservations for October 18, 2013. My son and his fiance have chosen the Viking as their destination to get married. Best vacation every year we will be back in June can't wait!!!

Love the location and the view. The inside needs some work. Some updating in general would be nice, especially bedding and towels, furniture, paint. The house overall could have definetly been cleaner. Windows, dishes, floors, even had mold in one of the bathrooms.

This was the most perfect vacation rental we could have ask for! The Viking has plenty of sleeping space, bathroom facilities, kitchen space, decks, and excellent access to beach, restaurants, gas, & groceries. The office staff, cleaning staff, and most expecially the maintenance man (who I forgot to get his name---sorry) were all excellent!!! Our family said this was the best vacation they had ever spent together and all expressed their desire to return again every year. Our only regret is that the cost will prohibit us from making this possible.

Two things I was told about the house which was not accurate. That ere was 2 ovens when there was 1. And that there was a bathroom on the 2nd floor that was accessible from the hall which there was not.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the house with a large group. It was just perfect for us and we will be back as many times as we can. Thank you Dr. for building these homes!

This was a perfect place for my daughter's wedding! The property is spacious and beautiful. There was plenty room for our family to stay to prepare for the wedding, and plenty room for the reception. We used both kitchens and the porches on both levels for seating, as well as, the porch on the lower level for dancing. The groom's family rented the house next door which gave us plenty of beach space for the 100 guests who attended. We have a lovely time and hope to visit again in the near future.

It was the best vacation that our entire family has ever had together. the wheather was good, beach was great,and the house was just made for our family. This was a great way for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. What a great house to celebrate in. Thank you.

we rented this house for my wedding and it couldn't have been anymore perfect!! The house is big and beautiful and there is enough space to be by yourself if need be! My family has already talked about renting it again and doing a family vacation here next year! Rudy (the house cleaner) and Elmer (the maintenance guy)are so great also!! Can't wait to get to the viking again :o)

Kaiser's service was excellent. The Viking was everything we hoped for and needed. It lacked for nothing in the way of amenities, furnishings, kitchen utensils, cleanliness - it was all-around super --- except for the ants around the base of some of the windows! Mid-May was the perfect time to be in Orange Beach. There were no crowds; in fact, it seemed we had a private beach. Of course, one day of torrential rain was something we could have done without, but with four generations of family present, we didn't lack for entertainment indoors! Kudos to the owners of Viking!

This is the first time we as a group of 12 golfers were able to stay together in one house. We have been coming to Gulf shores for 17 years and this was the best possible set-up we could have asked for. We are hoping to be able to get the same unit next year and probably from now on as long as we keep coming to Gulf Shores. Thanks Kaiser Realty for suggesting this unit. It was a bulls eye hit.
