I liked a lot of things about this condo. Liked the 1 1/2 baths, the closet bunks, it had a nice sized living/kitchen area and a great view. I love the beach! The owners need to update their kitchen inventory.

The accomodations were ok, the unit was average. No extras included. The building could use a face lift. It was very close to the beach, which was nice. The pool area was nice and also very clean. It was a good location for us, close to the kid activities and shopping, also not far from some great places to eat. Check in and out was very easy and the Realty office was very close.

We were very satisfied with the room. We r a family of five and we had plenty of room to sleep and just relax. The view was awesome also.

The condo is right on the beach which was great. Lounge chair/umbrella rentals were available, but a little costly. The condo unit looked cute & cozy from the photos, which it was - but was not cleaned very well. The bed and linens were ok except one of the pillowcases were not changed as it had hairs on it and smelled of perfume. The bthrm toilets & tub needed a good scrubbing. The toilet seats were old, grungy and smelled of urine - which is a shame as it would be easy & inexpensive replacement for the owner/realty company. There was an old grubby plastic mat on the floor of the half-bath -why not just replace this with a new one from the dollar store? The tile floors were sandy throughout and so were the chairs at the dining room table. My husband had to thoroughly scrub out the blender before using it. These minor issues could be remedied so easily if the condo was just properly cleaned and maintained. The next morning my husband spoke to a rep at Kaiser who said he would send housekeeping over and that we didn't need to be there to let them in - but when we returned from the beach all day no one had come to clean. I called Kaiser and another rep said someone had been there but couldn't get in because the door was locked- how does housekeeping not have keys to the unit? I told them not to bother sending someone back. The living area was cute, but the bedroom felt kind of outdated (for example instead of a DVD player, it had a VCR!).The bunk-beds are a converted closet in the hallway, which was fine for our 3 year old daughter. The pool area was ok -the kiddie pool is actually a hot tub they stopped heating & using the jets of. The larger pool was pleasantly warm and pretty clean, but the filters were full of debris and the bottom was pretty sandy again indicating that the bldg wasn't maintained very well. Overall, for the location it was nice & convenient but if you like a well maintained place, this may not be for you.

We stayed at tropic isle condo #803 on March 26th-31st. Check-in was good. Informative and helpful. The condo was adequate. On the positive side, the view was wonderful, the king sized bed was comfortable, the location was excellent. The pool was decent. On the negative side, we were promised a deluxe, upgraded unit with an upgraded kitchen. That kitchen was the bare minimum that would have been acceptable. Not deluxe in the least. Really, nothing in the unit was deluxe. There was mold in the tub surround. The cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen had badly peeling pain. The handles to the closets were scotch taped on. The shower head left a lot to be desired. Overall, the unit didn't feel deluxe in any way. We did receive a discount for "spring break", which I think means staying there with low occupancy. The value, considering what we paid, was average.
