Tradewinds #304 - Orange Beach

Our stay in Orange Beach was met with 40mph winds and cooler temps that we would have desired, but we had a good time... The unit of our stay was sufficient, but had a few things of annoyance. Access to the Tradewinds is a bit daunting, given that the driveway is just past (or before given your direction) a traffic light at adventure Island / Bubba's Seafood on Hwy 98. It takes a bit of maneuvering, but condo access is do-able... Just be careful... Once inside the grounds of the condo, lots of parking was available. Another item of concern was access to the elevator. A good walk from the front. Once you parked, it was quite a ways to the elevator. Not a real problem, but a bit of annoyance. Also, the bathroom vents were wired with the lights and ran very noisily. So, any time the bathrooms lights were on, the noise was on too - loud noise... All in all, the unit was nice. The accomodations were sufficient, but not luxurious. All the normal conveniences were available - washer / dryer, microwave, dishwasher, & large refrigerator. WiFi was required to be purchased separately; not a part of the package. This was the first time we have stayed in the Tradewinds; good spot, nice location, adequate lodging. We did enjoy our stay, even though the weather was not our friend...

Not a special unit. Fairly clean. Soft mattress. Value for price paid was a little dissappointing given the off season booking.
