Guests will love the uniquely designed pool with retractable roof and walls, allowing year-round use, as well as the sauna, fitness room and boardwalk. Only real complaint is the toilet paper is very rough!! The requirement to have the dishes put away is very difficult for a traveling family to wait until the dishwasher is finished. Most rentals just ask you to have dishes clean and the crew can put them away. Makes me wonder how clean the dishes are when I arrive. This condo was well equipped but did lack the ethernet cord. Very comfortable.

The Colonnades was excellent and very applicable to a large group, of which we were not. We wished that we could have stayed at the location originally leased, but the owners were not accepting short term. We guess Gulf Shores is turning into the "snowbirds haven" as Florida became years ago. Guess we will just have to locate better areas where those of us "southerners" who want to comedown for short-term visits still can do so around our work schedules.
