Summer House on Romar Beach #405A - Orange Beach

We love this unit. However some updates would be welcomed. The springs on the sofa bed have been broken for the last two years. And the comforter on the king needs replacing also the balcony was very dirty. Other then that we enjoy ourselves each year. We also like the fact that the third bedroom has two double beds. That's a plus. We hope to stay again this year.

onlt had issues with the dishwasher not wokring at all, reported ite arly, also the shower head leaked, liked the sizes of beds, prefer lower floor fro grand kids but a nice condo unit,

Over the past 20 years, Summer House is where my family has usually gone for our beach vacation. The big draw has always been the pools. As children, my son and daughter loved the pools. As adults, they still do and so do my grandchildren. We always have great photos of everyone (not me) jumping from one to the other! A good time was had by all.

My husband and I, along with my mother, my son and his family and my dtr rented this 3 bedroom condo. Everything was clean, good views of beach and pool and close to attractions. We had a problem with our check-in. Although we had prepaid for our stay, we stopped by Kaiser Reality to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed to do. They checked our keys and said they had the wrong numbers on them, then they changed them. When we got to the condo, we packed all our luggage up and the keys didn't work. I called Kaiser and they sent a security guard to let us (we had to wait 30 minutes outside the door). We still didn't have our keys. The security guard said we should have our new keys in 20 to 30 minutes. This was at 4:00 p.m. We couldn't go eat because if we left we couldn't get back in. My husband and I went to the grocery store and left the grandchildren and children at the condo. At 9:30 we finally got the keys. I felt like we should have been issued a refund. Who could go do anything after 9:30 p.m.? The grandchildren were ready to go to bed.

Summer House Unit 405A is excellent. My family has been a repeat guest for quite a number of years. This particular unit had very comfortable beds. The curtains were another plus, heavy enough to block out all that beach sun in the morning. This unit was very clean and the view was wonderful. We even watched a beach wedding right from our balcony! The only down side was the ice maker. It constantly sounded like running water and was quite noisy.
