Royal Palms #208 - Gulf Shores

This was our 3rd stay in this particular unit, 4th at the Royal Palms. It was perfect. We choose this unit because of it's location in the building. It is comfortable and easy to live in even with 3 teen age girls! The staff were so kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. The facilities are all you could want in a condo. This condo is the last one before the state park so you are not crowded at all. Looking to plan our 5th stay soon.

This is a very nice place for your get-a-way. You will be very satisfied with your overall experience.

The view and the beach were great. The beds coverings were way past renewal time. The entire condo needed updating for the price we paid. The elevator was down at a signficant time. The people at Kaiser were very helpful and checking in and out was very simple. We had a problem with the patio door and it was fixed the next day. The bunkbeds were a hit with the adults and kids. Grandkids had a wonderful time.

Kaiser Realty helped with all questions and making the reservation ! Royal Palms is in a great area- The rooms are clean and comfortable. The ocean view from the balcony --wonderful.

If you plan to stay in the master bedroom, bring ear plugs. The master bedroom is right by the front door. And right outside the door is the trash shute. People in the floors above start throwing down their trash at 4:30 am and you hear every sound of it coming down the metal shute. The elevator is a little ways down the hall, but through the vent system you hear it cycle all throughout the night. And since the door isn't insulated, you can hear anything that is outside your room, which includes cars in the parking deck that is on the 2nd floor level. The indoor pool has way too much cholrine in it and the workers have to open all three doors each day to vent the area...we had headaches. But the pool is heated to a nice temp. The lady security guard will watch every move anyone makes in the indoor pool. If there are more than 6 people (even adults) in the hottub, she will come down and ask you to get out. We have never had a security guard to man the hottub occupancy. The unit was nice, and the sofa is a sleeper...it didn't list it in the description. Also, it is very hard to exit the top parking deck if you have a SUV. The outdoor pool was ice cold in april.
