We went into the vacation hoping for the best after looking at the pictures...only to find it was...and then some. The home is about 6 miles from town, walk outside at night and you feel a million miles away from stress... The views are perfect, plenty of room, the wifi was an added bonus. This was an amazing getaway...and the ice machine was a nice added touch. We left a kite behind to add to the extra's for everyone after us, we already plan on coming back before the end of the summer. Gulf Shores is a great getaway...would've loved a little cover from the sun on the deck, but in no way did that take away from the perfect escape.

Great house, all 4 bedrooms have a nice view (2) Gulf (2) Lagoon, but no one feels cheated. Sanddunes are awesome and best seashell hunt in a long time. Wonderful icemaker, didn't have to make 50 trips to the store for ice and no long waits at a elavator.

The location of this house was in a desirably non-public area. The floor plan was perfect for the two couples of us and the house was well furnished with appliances,dishes,utensils,internet,washer-dryer, dishwasher and almost anything that was needed or could be needed. The bathrooms were planned for privacy even within each bathroom with a door separating the dual lavatories from the shower and toilet(a layout we would enjoy having at home). The interior was very clean and appeared to have been just refurbished... all tastefully done. It was an easy house to treat as we do our own. The one missing feature that we would have enjoyed is a covered back deck. We purchased a portable canopy which served the purpose but a permanent roof would have been preferable. Thank you, Pattys.

Loved the house-great view, very comfortable, well stocked, very well laid out. Great value. I was concerned about having only 2 bathrooms for 8 people with 4 bedrooms. It was never a problem because of the double sink, nice vanity, separate stool and shower, and spacious closet. There was plenty of seating and tables.

Thouse was very pretty and inviting. The pictures show a bath tub in one of the bath rooms. Having a 2 year old I required a bath tub. When I got there, both of the bath rooms had a shower only with no tubs at all. I had to give my son a bath in a tupperware container we bought from Wal-Mart because he does not like showers. I would have never rented the house had I known this. The photos are deceiving. The renovation was obviously done the week prior to us staying due to the old toilet and trash lying next to the road. What a welcome to your new expensive vacation rental than an old toilet and trash on the side of the road. It was not picked up by the city until 3 days later. Atleast it was an easy way to spot our drive. The house was not cleaned completely. There was dog hair everywhere (owner's dog who stayed there the previous week) including bed sheets and comforter. Under the couch was misc. toys and hair as well. It looks like they clean it themselves and do not use a professional service. The porch needed to be re done badly. Nails poking up and loose boards. Was missing rails on the railing. The railing was fixed when I called though.

Quiet location. Comfortable beds. Love the beach and the sound of the ocean.
