Dalarna (DOLLAR - NA) is a Gulf-front home located in the Nordic Villas community on Romar Beach, approximately 4.8 miles east of Highway 59 in Orange Beach. Splendid in size, this three-level home features two living areas, twelve bedrooms, 12.5 baths, two Gulf front master suites, and multiple covered decks. The personable Swedish charm of this home is perfect for family gatherings, business meetings, and weddings.
The ground level of Dalarna offers convenient entry to the house from the north side parking area. The central foyer gives access to the large common area and four bedrooms, each with a private full bath with a tub/shower combination. Three of these bedrooms have king beds, and the fourth has two twins. The two beachside rooms have private deck and beach access. The common area on this level features a sectional, large TV, pool table, beach access, dining area, and kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, ice machine, sink, and countertop appliances. There is a laundry room next to the stairway leading to the main level.
The main level of Dalarna features an open living area, dining area and spacious galley-style kitchen, as well as three bedrooms. All cooks will enjoy the convenience of two refrigerators, two dishwashers, an ice machine and an efficient layout including an island with bar seating. The great-room area offers plenty of seating for everyone. Windows span the entire south side of this space, offering a wonderful view of the Gulf. Or, enjoy the ocean breezes from the spacious outside covered deck on this level. To the west of the kitchen is a half bath and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The bedroom on the northwest side of this level has a king bed with a private full bath with a tub/shower combination. The middle bedroom on this side offers two twin beds and a private full bath with a tub/shower combination. On the northeast side of this level, a third bedroom offers a king bed and a private full bath with a tub/shower combination.
Topping off this spectacular home, the third floor features five bedrooms and a convenient morning kitchen with an under-the-counter refrigerator, sink and countertop appliances. Two large Gulf front master suites have private access to the covered deck. Both master bedrooms have king beds and spacious travertine-tiled baths featuring whirlpool tubs, separate showers, private commode closets, and double vanity sinks. The northwest bedroom has two twin-over-full bunks, and a twin-twin bunk (sleeping 8 total) with a private full bath with a tub/shower combination. The northeast bedroom has a king bed with a private full bath with a tub/shower combination. The middle bedroom on the north side has a king bed with a private full bath with a tub/shower combination.
The Nordic Villas common area includes two shared swimming pools located on the north side of the complex with large sundecks, tables, chairs and chaises. There are three barbeque grill areas, each with two grills, two additional large parking lots, and boardwalks leading to the beach from each house.

The Dalarna suits the needs for all our friends. The elevator is very important to us as some of us are having trouble with stairs! We love the location as it seems to be near the grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and of course the beach! The people at Kaiser were very helpful in everything we asked for. The only negative is we had trouble with the TV in trying to figure all the directions in the book. We had to have the maintenance man come tune it in for us!

We stayed at dalarna during easter/spring break. The house was so much more than we expected. It is huge. More room than we needed. It was well maintained and well stocked. The only lacking amenity was a second stove. It was helpful to have the elevator to send luggage, groceries up 2 or 3 floors. The beach is beautiful. High rise condos are in one direction, making that area busy, but the other direction is less crowded with more houses and empty beachfront lots. We had problems getting a the tvs to work, but kaiser responded quickly. Kaiser was easy to work with from the time of our reservation to check out. Highly recommend staying here!

Large group? Great house ! Beautiful view and nice furnishings. Our church group of seniors enjoyed it so much we booked it again for this year. The elevator was a great surprise - we were worried how some would be able to go up to the third floor. No problem.

We have stayed 2 years back to back in the Dalarna going on our third year this spring, we call this our house.. I bring 30 ladies with me to this house, we host our annual Ladies Retreat here. the size of the house means we are able to spend more group time together, enjoy each others company, And worship God :) Thank You!!

We've stayed in Nordic Villas homes for over 10 years and the Dalarna is one of our favorites! The home is ideal for our large group of friends and provides all the ammentities to make it a great vacation! The elevator is a big plus! We love it and come back every year!

This was a perfect location and beautiful beach house for our family of 25-30 to celebrate Christmas this year! The beach house was absolutely gorgeous and had everything needed to host our 4 days of food, fun, and entertainment. We experienced excellent service from the moment we inquired about rental of the property, to making the reservation, and especially enjoyed being able to get check-in codes by mail. The only snag was on the last day when we had problems with the air conditioner...yes, necessary in December! However, maintenance was sent within 30 minutes of our call and since we were leaving that day, it wasn't a real issue. Overall, it was such a wonderful place to celebrate with family, we've decided to go again next year! *We also met the owners of the beach house, and wow, what wonderful people! basically leaving that day, it wasn't a real problem.

I would certainly refer my friends to this rental! We had a hard time getting the TV to come on and use in several locations but finally solved the problem!

The house was even better than the pictures. Every bedroom had it's own bath and we never felt crowded even with 30 people. The nice open area in the kitchen/den/dining area was great for large gatherings and the kitchen was awsome. The location was right on the beach with a short walk to the water and our section of the beach was not crowded at all. We had trouble with the air on the ground level and Kaiser took care of it quickly and they were very friendly and eager to help. I never had a nicer experience with the rental service in all the years I have been coming to Orange Beach. The price was very reasonable per person. Everything was really nice and clean and modern. You will love this place!!!

This house is ideal for a large family. We had our annual extended-family group vacation here the first week of June. The oldest person was 84 years old, the youngest was 5 months old, with all ages in-between (four generations). There was plenty of space for everyone, more than enough storage, seating, comfortable bedding, etc. Location was very convenient for shopping and eating out, yet the beach was beautiful and uncrowded. A little pricey, yet worth it for the roomy accomodations and convenience.
