This beautifully decorated 2-story, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home sits directly on the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. By the Sea is approximately 4.2 miles down West Beach Blvd. Located on the first floor is the living room and dining room, kitchen, laundry room and two bedrooms, both with private baths. The living room, dining and kitchen are open and quite spacious. Floor to ceiling windows and glass doors on the south wall provide a wonderful view of the Gulf and large sun deck. The kitchen is open with well-appointed appliances.
Both first floor bedrooms are Gulf-front with private baths. The bedroom on the southwest side of the house has a queen bed, while the bedroom on the southeast side of the house has a king bed. The upstairs bedrooms are also Gulf-front with private baths. The southeast bedroom has a king bed, while the southwest bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. Also located on the second floor is an additional seating area with access to a balcony overlooking the downstairs living room. This balcony also provides a breathtaking view of the Gulf to the south.

We really love the location of this house and the fact that it has 4 bedrooms facing the ocean. The deck has been replaced since last year, which is nice. We enjoyed the sitting room upstairs. It looks as if improvements are being made. We were not really in need of any service, however it has always been good in the past. Check in is always easy. Cleaning is average to say the least. The carpet on the stairs is filthy. Some of that I attribute to the oil from the spill, but this year there does not appear to be oil, so the carpet on the steps is in dire need of cleaning. It is the first thing one sees when they walk in the house. It would also be nice to have full rolls of toilet paper and soap for all the sinks. We liked the combination lock and not having to deal with keys. We feel it is a little overpriced compared to other houses we have stayed in, but really enjoyed our stay.

This home was absolutely beautiful. The back of the house was all windows and the view of the ocean was gorgeous. It is very spacious and we had plenty of room. It was in a great location and the privacy of the beach was wonderful. No crowds. I would absolutely rent it again and would highly recommend it. We loved it! This was our first visit to Gulf Shores. Normally we vacation in Destin, FL. We will be returning this summer, but in a different location due to a larger group. We are excited and looking forward to returning. The folks at Kaiser Realty are great to work with and we have rented with them again this summer. I would highly recommend them as well. All in all our experience was great and we had a wonderful family vacation.

By The Sea is really a great beach house. The features and comforts are tops and are a definet plus for any needs. It would be nice if it had an elevator for some people who have trouble climbing stairs. Also, steps or a walkway across the sand dune would make it much easier for some people to access and enjoy the beach. A couple of the doors leading from the bedrooms out onto the balcony were somewhat difficult to open without extra effort.

nicely furnished and supplied. only complaint is that air conditioning on west side of house was very inadequate. luckily we brought fans which helped some.
