Blue Parrot Duplexes are located approximately 1.8 miles west of Highway 59 on West Beach Blvd. There are a total of 4 Gulf front duplexes within these 2 lots.
Each side of each duplex is non-smoking and will accommodate up to 12 people. The main level of the house features the living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a full-size bathroom. The second level features the other three bedrooms and two baths. Each duplex offers covered porches and a sun deck area. The main level on the northside features a bedroom with a king-size bed and a full-size bath, which is a common area bathroom. The 2nd main level bedroom is just off the kitchen area and has 2 twin beds.
The 2nd level southside area features the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed, a private bath, and a private Gulf-front deck. The 2nd level northside bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fifth bedroom, also on the 2nd level, features the other set of twin beds. A full-size bathroom is also available between these two rooms.

I have rented several properties from Kaiser Realty in the past and it has always been a great vacation experience. This year we rented a beach house for a family Thanksgiving gathering with our kids and grand kids. We were all looking forward to a great Thanksgiving on the beach. When I arrived I stopped by the Kaiser office, registered and picked the keys to the beach house.Arriving at the property I inspected the house and layout of bed rooms and baths. I then walked onto the deck and saw bulldozers on the beach and yellow caution tape between the beach house and the beach. I called back to Kaiser and was informed the work would not be completed before our checkout date. They did have another property, The Blue Parrot West 6, that was available and could accommodate our family's needs. The Blue Parrot West 6 is a duplex with a swimming pool and the beach was open. We still had a great family vacation and Kaiser worked with us on correcting a situation that had upset me greatly. I thank them for that. I would not have chosen the Blue Parrot because of the stairs (three flights). There is nothing wrong with the property at all, except for the numbers of stairs and my knees not being what they used to be. If you have no problem with stairs it is a great property for your vacation needs. My only complaint is with regards to the beach situation at the original property. When we checked in nothing was said about the beach being closed for repair. If the Blue Parrot had not been available (5 bedrooms) it would have resulted in a not so great family Thanksgiving vacation. I will continue using Kaiser for my next beach get away but I will be asking a few more questions next time.
