Blue Parrot Duplexes are located approximately 1.8 miles west of Highway 59 on West Beach Blvd. There are a total of 4 Gulf-front duplexes within these 2 lots.
This duplex is non-smoking and will accommodate up to 10 people. The main level of the house features the living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a full-size bathroom. The second level features the other three bedrooms and two baths. Each duplex offers covered porches and a sun deck area. The main level on the northside features a bedroom with a king-size bed and a full-size bath, which is a common area bathroom.
The 2nd main level bedroom is just off the kitchen area and has 2 twin beds. The 2nd level southside area features the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed, a private bath, and a private Gulf-front deck. The 2nd level northside bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fifth bedroom, also on the 2nd level, features the other set of twin beds. A full-size bathroom is also available between these two rooms.
Vacation Rental Summary
I've rented in Gulf Shores for years. Kaiser always does a great job of taking care of things. This trip, the house was in need of several items and Kaiser delivered all of them the day after my request. The house needs some repair however. The table on the deck is missing a board and the nails are popping up from the deck floor so we had to be sure to wear shoes when on it. The location is perfect. It's not far from anything and the beach is quiet. We had all four of our grown children there for Thanksgiving which hadn't happened in several years. Our youngest is in the Navy and heading to Japan next year so he wanted to do another Gulf Shores Thanksgiving. It was wonderful.

As always, Kaiser staff does a great job. My sister and I, along with our families have stayed at this property the past 4 years, and during the first 3 saw the property quality decline to the point of saying if year 4 wasn't improved, we'd look elsewhere. Our recommendations were heard, and the stay was better. Examples of those were replace worn furniture in den, correct tv reception issues, perform physical maintenance on cabinets, bathrooms, etc. We still feel that the owner should correct problems with kitchen cabinets along with minor bathroom/bedroom cabinet issues, along with upgrading Den TV to one large enough for all occupants (10) to see comfortably as well as additional den side chairs adequate to seat all occupants comfortably. It was necessary to move pool chairs inside.
