We stayed at admirals Quarters for the month of November and would highly recommend this facility. The location is perfect for biking the state park trails, there are good restaurants nearby and the beach is perfect. The lobby, pool areas and grounds are all well maintained and the elevator is speedy. We were diappointed however in the grilling facility. They are charcoal and not very convienently located. What were liked about this unit the most was that we could watch the sunrise and sunset from our huge balcony every day with an unobstructed view of the gulf. The unit was spacious and comfortable and quiet. It is decorated with an animal theme which is cute. There is a small desk next to the dining table so we had a spot for our laptop. What we did not like about the unit was that it needed a deep cleaning (which we did ourselves). The bedroom ceiling fans had clinging dust, the ceramic tile under the bed was very dirty and the area rugs were soiled. The patio chaises had cushions on them that were ripped and stained. We covered them with a beach towel. The kitchen needs more bakeware and the livingroom TV remote barely functions. There isn't a cd player or radio and I missed having music on. In summary I feel like the unit needs to be updated.
