April 11-13th at The Wharf in Orange Beach the inaugural L.A. Gumbo Festival is set to kick off with the unveiling of the world’s largest pot of gumbo! The festivities will begin on April 11th at 7 pm just before the start of the Kenny Chesney concert at The Wharf Amphitheater.

The Color Run 5k

This race is less about speed and more about just enjoying yourself with your friends and family. People of all shapes, ages, and speeds are encourage to participate. The Color Run is also a starting point for most first time runners. It isn’t a timed race and you are welcome to travel at your own speed. The race is a 3 mile stretch through one of the most pristine areas on the Gulf Coast.

What makes this race so fun? COLOR! At each kilometer race participants will be doused from head to toe in different color paint! The only two rules are to wear white, and to finish plastered in color!

10th Annual Ride for Autism

The 10th Annual ride for Autism will be held March 22nd through the 23rd. This event will be an overnight motorcycle poker-run starting at the Cajun Harley Davidson in Lafayette Louisiana and ending at Happy Harbor in Orange Beach Alabama. The event will also have a silent auction, 50/50, door prizes and several other exciting things to participate in. The cost is $45 per person and all proceeds benefit Project Independence.
