Along with Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism and others throughout the Gulf Coast, we are monitoring the storm’s track via the National Hurricane Center.
The City of Gulf Shores will enforce a curfew in restricted areas, beginning at 8:00 p.m. tonight through 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29. Anyone on the roadways during this time will be stopped and escorted out of the area.
In addition, officials have announced that Gulf Shores Utilities shut off all water services west of Volunteer Fire Station Number Two on Cortez Street through the end of Highway 180 (Ft. Morgan Road) at 2:30 p.m. today due to storm surge and flood conditions.
