Founded along the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast in 1980, Kaiser Realty, Inc. President and founder, Leonard Kaiser, had a vision for the future. He envisioned a pristine vacation area for families to gather and spend quality time together, all while experiencing first class service and value.
Opening the company’s doors on the heels of Hurricane Frederick, Kaiser knew it was the time to seize the opportunity to begin something great. Growing up only miles north of the sugar white sand beaches in the small German town of Elberta, Alabama, Kaiser had come to appreciate and love the natural beauty that surrounded the Alabama Gulf Coast.
With the goal of introducing the coastal communities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to new people throughout the world, Kaiser felt a grand opportunity was beginning to take shape.
“Back in 1980, much of the United States population was unaware that Alabama had a beach, much less one of the whitest, most beautiful beaches in the country,” Kaiser said. “Now, the small resort communities have grown into a thriving year-round family vacation destination, while still retaining their comfortable, unhurried coastal pace.”
The real estate sales and property management company started with just a handful of rental properties in a small, brick house Kaiser shared with a local contractor.
Today, Kaiser Realty, Inc. is a respected leader in the Gulf Coast business community, managing hundreds of the area’s finest vacation condominiums and beach homes along the 32 mile stretch of the Alabama Gulf Coast. The company also provides association management services and features a full service real estate sales department with licensed, caring real estate professionals to help with any need. Kaiser Realty’s company headquarters, featuring the area’s only drive-up window for guest check-in and expansive meeting facilities on the third floor, now sits on the same location as their very first office in Gulf Shores, less than a mile south of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Joined in 1981 by his nephew, Randy Kaiser, Leonard Kaiser knew they were off to a strong start. Now a Vice President, Randy Kaiser, credits their growth to their consistent commitment to providing the absolute best vacation rental, property management and real estate sales service available. “Kaiser Realty has grown in a controlled, targeted direction with our main focus on quality, not quantity,” he said. “We concentrate on developing good working relationships with our owners, we pay attention to the details and, we welcome our guests like family.”
