SEC Women’s Soccer Championship

Come watch 10 of the top SEC Women’s soccer teams go head to head for the championship title right here in beautiful Orange Beach! The Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Championship will be held October 29th through November 4th at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The 1st round of games will be held on Monday, October 29th at 4pm. The Championship game will be on Sunday November 4th at 2:30pm. Admission to the event if $5 for adults and $2 for children. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase at the Orange Beach Sportsplex on the day of the event.

Make sure to visit The Wharf on Saturday, November 3rd at 6pm for a variety of festivities.  Join Tyler Watts for the pre-game and post- game show and we can’t for get about our SEC football. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs to watch some SEC football on the 40 foot screen. Also, while you are there check out the Ferris wheel, laser tag, and compete in the corn-hole contest!

Join Us In Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

Balloon Glow in the Gardens

Trick-or-treaters will be gathering at beautiful Bellingrath Gardens for their annual Balloon Glow in the  Gardens. There will be plenty of trinkets for the trick-or-treaters along with several different scary and fun inflatables glowing through out the park. The event will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 5 to 7pm.

The Shed BBQ and Blues will be on site serving up their one-of-a-kind award winning BBQ. There will also be live music to listen to while you enjoy the Gardens  The Balloon Glow is free for members and rates for non-members will be reduced starting at 4:30pm on the day of the event. “Boolu’s” Haunted House

October 24th through the 31st Lulu’s Homeport Marina and Restaurant will be hosting their annual Boolu’s Haunted House. This haunted house is designed by local middle and high school students. While the older children and adults work their way through the spooky maze interactive Halloween games will be made available to the younger children to let them participate in the Halloween festivities. Admission for children is free and adults are kindly asked to make a $5 donation. All proceeds from the Haunted House go directly to the Art Departments of several of our local schools. The 5th Annual Oyster Cook Off

November 3rd at 11am join food networking stars, local restaurants and backyard grill masters as they battle for 1st place in the 5th Annual Oyster Cook off!  The contest will be held at The Hangout in Gulf Shores, “Where 59 Ends, & the Fun Begins”. Enjoy live music from the Banditos, LF Knighton and The Soul Rebels Brass Band  along with football showing on the big screens and with all these oysters being cooked, someone has to eat them! For all you Oyster lovers tickets can be purchased to sample the oysters prepared by the different teams. This event is free to the public so grab your family and friends and head down to The Hangout for one of South Alabama’s most delicious bits of heritage, The Oyster.
